such emblematic titles Assassin's Creed, the saga Final Fantasy and Metal Gear Solid V.
It is with great pleasure that we close the 2015 Masterclass with one of the most influential French developers in the world. Thus,
Julien Merceron, a native of Paris, is a man of the shadows, discreet
and humble, which, however, has helped to shape some of the best games
of the past twenty years. Julien
has been successively chief technology officer at Ubisoft where he
worked on Rayman, Splinter Cell or Assassin's Creed, and at Square Enix,
where in addition to assisting the development of Tomb Raider and Deus
Ex, he oversaw the creation of the Luminous Engine used in the highly anticipated Final Fantasy XV. From 2013 to late 2015, Julien was Director of Konami world
technologies and oversaw the creation of the Fox Engine, which helped
develop Metal Gear Solid V or PES 2016.
During his Masterclass, Julien return to his impressive career, his
passion for Japan, about his meeting and working with Hideo Kojima ...
The
Masterclass Video Games is a free event to be held Tuesday, December
22, 2015, at 19 am at the Auditorium of the Museum of Science.
